This gives the pink flesh an important advantage over other types of tomatoes for planting in certain regions of Russia, which are recognized as places of risky farming.

Tomato bush is classified as standard determinant... Under the standard (from German. Stamm - "trunk") is understood the compactness and power of the main stem of the plant: it does not break, but falls under the weight of large fruits.

A sign of determinism means that the bush of pink fleshy tomato is not high, about 50-53 cm, the stem stops growing immediately after the formation of the first few inflorescences. These characteristics contribute to the good endurance of the variety.

With proper care and compliance with all preventive measures, the first fruits may appear on the plant already 90 days after planting. The yield of pink fleshy tomatoes is 5-6 kg per square meter.

  • Pink, rounded and flat-round in shape,
  • Large, fleshy, fruits weigh up to 350 grams.
  • Inside, they are divided into four segments, which is why they are easy to cut.
  • Fleshy pink tomatoes contain a high percentage of solids, sugars and beta-carotene, making them tasty, sweet and healthy.

Features of growing and care

Fleshy pink tomato is suitable for planting in open ground and in an unheated film greenhouse, depending on the month of the year (mid-May or June).

Sowing for seedlings is carried out in March-April, after the appearance of one or two leaves, tomatoes need to be dived (transplanted over a large area).

Seedlings need to be fed two or three times with complex mineral fertilizers, and 7-10 days before disembarkation - start hardening it.

Planted "Pink fleshy" 2-3 plants per square meter, the variety requires moderate watering, regular loosening of the soil and hilling. The peculiarities of growing the tomatoes in question include the fact that Pink Fleshy tomato does not require pinching: its bush is well branched, abundantly covered with leaves, and stepchildren give additional harvest.

Diseases and pests

The main enemy of the Pink Fleshy is late blight. This fungal disease is characterized by the appearance of brown spots on the leaves, and then on the stems and fruits. Late blight spreads rapidly, affecting bushes adjacent to the diseased plant.

For the prevention of late blight, whey is used: acidic environment inhibits the growth of spores of the fungus. Immediately after planting the bushes in the ground, and then every seven days, the plants should be sprayed with serum.

If late blight struck a pink fleshy tomato, then it is necessary to promptly remove the darkened leaves and treat the tomatoes with fungicides - antifungal drugs (Ecosil, Fitosporin, Bordeaux liquid, Quadris).

Tomato "Fleshy Pink" is one of the most popular varieties for growing among farmers. Resistant to adverse weather conditions and stress, large-fruited, with excellent taste, it will take its rightful place in any garden and personal plot.
